Anybody else watch Doctor Who?

I had put the third series on while I was working on the last of the little redrawing I had to do on Americus this week, and I’ll admit there were times where I was watching a little more than I was drawing. Anyhow, the dude above is from one of the episodes and I couldn’t help myself from doodling him.

Sorry to cop out a bit this week. I just finished reformatting all the Americus pages to send out to First Second, I’ve got another double-page spread I’m doing for this year’s Finder for the WW,  as well as some other odds and ends that I need to wrap up before I head out on vacation next week.

But something is better than nothing, right?

So next week will be Polaris, can I get some Polaris love?

It’s where Aragorn uses one of the Palantir to show Sauron that he is the heir of Isildur and sort of trick him into marshaling his forces to attack before they’re ready to draw attention away from Frodo and Sam.

First up, I’m working on a T-shirt for my buddy Travis’s band Convenient Noise. Here’s the almost finished sketch:

Some new stuffs to show you. First up, my holiday image for the year.

I’ve been watching a lot of Batman: The Animated Series, can you tell? I’m pretty happy with it despite it not really being my style. I think what I like the most is the sort of visual narrative going on with the lights, changing the color of the falling snow, though I’m not entirely sure how well it comes across.

Still working on website stuff… This will be sitting in the lower left hand corner… We’ll see how it turns out.

Right now as I write this, I am putting the final touches on my calendar images. I was about to post a few of the finished ones, but then I took a gander at Jonathan’s gorgeous design and decided I need to put a little more into them. But I do have one tasty little nugget for you, here’s my lasts calendar image, ready for the pulp treatment.
