So some of you reading may remember waaay back when, I posted some concept sketches for a Teddy-themed tattoo. Well, I finished the design a while ago, but wanted to take a spin at adding some color before posting it.

I don’t know what colors will be used on the actual tattoo (or if there will be any colors at all).  I just wanted to do this for fun.

Lately I’ve been watching episodes of the British sci-fi series Torchwood.  Sometimes I’ll do brushpen sketches of characters when I’m watching it.  The likenesses usually aren’t very good, though that’s really not the point when I’m doing them.  I like to play around with mark-making, getting down an interesting gesture or exaggerating the shapes and details I see in peoples’ faces.  Anyway, I thought I’d post some of my better sketches here:

While I was scanning these drawings, I noticed that they’re all faces.  I’ll have to try doing some full body sketches in the future.
